Charlene Bonney has been professionally painting for more than fifteen years. Her background includes fashion design, interior design, model design, landscape design, and decorating.
Bonney’s lifetime dedication to art is demonstrated through her degree of a master in spatial art. Her studies of art fashion commenced in New York as well as Europe.
In addition to traveling for education, Bonney has traveled extensively throughout the world to gain inspiration for her paintings.
Bonney’s paintings are designed to enhance your home’s décor. As a known colorist, she utilizes bold color to evoke intense emotion. Each high-energy piece stands out as a bold statement of nature. Her colorful works are vivid depictions of the coast, the desert, canyons, the southwest and southern California. Among her more popular works are her tropical scenes depicting especially magnificent palm trees such as tropical palms, desert date palms and southern California palms.
Bonney has printed many of her more popular scenes. They are now available as giclée prints. The giclée printing process is done digitally with a high-resolution ink jet printer.
The inks are completely colorfast. The acrylic paintings are printed on canvas and then hand enhanced to add impasto (thickness). These watercolor giclée prints are printed on watercolor paper and are more resistant to fading than the original art.
